Our Family

Castañeda Beef raises Akaushi cattle in Central Texas. We are family owned and operated and pride ourselves in providing top quality Wagyu beef that is always hormone & antibiotic free. Our cattle are raised with high standards and kept relaxed, well fed and comfortable.  

Rene and Jinni Castañeda started selling Wagyu beef in 2017 to family and friends while living just outside of San Antonio. After receiving such great feedback, they decided to expand their efforts to offer high quality Wagyu beef to even more families. Castañeda Beef is now offered online at www.CastanedaBeef.com, at various local farmers markets and now at Good Fellas Meat Co.
